Utility Engineer

Boiler Operation & Maintenance

• Operate and monitor

  steam boilers

  as per IBR guidelines.
  
• Maintain records of

  steam generation, fuel consumption, and water treatment

  .
  
• Ensure proper

  boiler blowdown, feedwater quality

  , and safe start-up/shutdown.
  

LPG Gas Plant Handling

• Operate and monitor

  LPG storage, vaporizer units, and distribution lines

  .
  
• Conduct

  leak checks, pressure checks

  , and follow

  fire and safety protocols

  .
  
• Ensure coordination with the production team for

  demand regulation

  .
  

Air Compressor Management

• Operate and maintain

  screw/reciprocating compressors

  and

  air dryers

  .
  
• Monitor

  pressure levels, temperature, oil levels

  , and

  moisture traps

  .
  
• Schedule routine

  preventive maintenance

  and manage

  air leak detection

  .
  

RO Plant & Water Treatment

• Operate and monitor

  Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant

  , including

  pre-treatment units

  .
  
• Maintain records of

  input/output TDS, membrane cleaning

  , and chemical dosing.
  
• Ensure treated water availability for

  boilers and process applications

  .
  

Pump House Operations

• Monitor and maintain

  pumps for process water, cooling water, and firefighting lines

  .
  
• Check for

  pressure, flow, motor performance

  , and

  pipeline leakages

  .
  
• Maintain standby pump readiness and control panel checks.
  

STP & ETP Operation

• Operate and maintain

  Sewage and Effluent Treatment Plants

  .
  
• Perform

  daily testing of pH, COD, BOD, TSS

  , and ensure

  treated water standards

  .
  
• Maintain

  chemical inventory

  ,

  sludge disposal records

  , and

  regulatory compliance

  .
  

Monitoring & Documentation

• Maintain

  logbooks, meter readings, and shift-wise performance reports

  .
  
• Track

  fuel, water, and electricity consumption data

  for optimization.
  
• Ensure

  shift handover and daily reporting to Utility Head

  .
  

Maintenance Support

• Assist in

  breakdown and preventive maintenance

  with the mechanical/electrical team.
  
• Identify and report abnormalities in

  vibration, noise, pressure, temperature

  , etc.
  

5S, Kaizen, and Safety

• Ensure

  clean, safe, and organized utility areas

  by following

  5S principles

  .
  
• Participate in

  Kaizen initiatives

  for operational improvements.
  
• Adhere to

  plant safety rules, PPE usage

  , and emergency response protocols.
