Job Title: Utility Engineer Projects

Location: Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh

Company: FMCG/Food Processing

Reporting To: Project Leader Utilities

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily tasks as per the project Gantt chart.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and commissioning of equipment.
• Review design and construction plans to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Conduct risk assessment and manage escalation to avoid project delays.
• Ensure heat and mass balance for water, boiler, ETP, air, and ammonia systems.
• Work with design engineering consultants for new utility systems.
• Inspect construction sites to ensure progress, quality, and adherence to timelines.
• Coordinate work with contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and checklists.
• Handle large ETP, STP, and ZLD systems in food or beverage manufacturing setups.
• Monitor influent/effluent parameters, chemical dosing, and water quality.
• Ensure compliance with CPCB, NGT, CGWA, and local environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety and health risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and departments to support plant operations.

Technical Knowledge Required:

• ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), ERS (Effluent Recycle System), and ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) systems.
• Boilers and steam generation systems.
• Ammonia refrigeration and cooling systems.
• Water treatment and pumping systems.
• Piping layouts and HVAC systems.
