User Experience Researcher

About the Role:

As a User Researcher, you will partner with cross-functional teamsdesigners, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and marketers—to deeply understand our users’ needs and behaviors. Your research will directly shape product strategy, design, and execution, ensuring intuitive, accessible, and seamless experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute research studies

  : Conduct qualitative (field observations, interviews, usability testing) and quantitative (surveys, metrics analysis) research across current and future products.

• Uncover opportunities

  : Identify unmet needs and inform product vision, roadmap, and strategy through creative research methods and co-design sessions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally

  : Ensure research insights are integrated into design, product, and business decisions, providing a holistic view of our users.

• Communicate insights effectively

  : Share findings through impactful storytelling—presentations, reports, and workshops—that drive action.

• Adapt methodologies

  : Innovate and tailor research approaches to meet the fast-paced demands of product development.

• Mentor & guide

  : Support and coach fellow stakeholders, fostering a culture of empathy and user-centric design across the organization.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the technology industry conducting User research, with a proven track record of driving tangible outcomes with product and design teams.
• Educational qualification that is either an advanced degree in Psychology, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Social sciences or related field, with significant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies, their pros/ cons and their application during different phases of product development.
• Ability to quickly and effectively present research results.
• Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product and design decisions.
• Experience with remote testing tools.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with quantitative research involving inferential statistics, metric analysis.
• Designing user experiences, knowledge of UI design principles, ability to prototype.
• Ability to fluently communicate in multiple Indian languages and English.
• Previous experience identifying, onboarding, and managing external research,
  translation, transcription, and tools vendors.
