Key responsibilities Lead user research on farmers’ experiences with Virtual Agronomist and Farmer.Chat, with focus on women, youth, and marginalized groups, in Bihar, India, and Kenya. Conduct FGDs, KIIs, household interviews, and use participatory tools (farmer diaries, journey mapping) to capture farmer voice in low-literacy contexts. Collaborate with implementers and evaluators to design A/B tests to assess methods that boost farmer uptake and retention. Apply a strong gender and inclusion lens, identifying barriers such as access to devices, time-use, and literacy.
