User Experience Designer

As a User Experience Designer at Smartters, a software development company based in Bhubaneswar, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience for various software, website, and mobile applications developed for iOS and Android platforms. Your responsibilities will include conducting primary and secondary research to understand user needs and industry trends, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and explain design decisions, creating visual design systems and prototypes, and ensuring that the designs align with business goals and user expectations. You will work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency. Your expertise in Figma with a strong background in container structure and prototyping will be essential in creating and maintaining comprehensive design systems and UI kits. Additionally, your proficiency in developing wireframes, user journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes will contribute to designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a UX Designer in a software company or design agency. Your solid understanding of visual design principles, UX processes, and human-centered design, coupled with familiarity with psychological principles of design and user behavior, will be key in delivering high-quality user experiences. Furthermore, your excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities will enable you to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders. If you possess additional skills such as mentorship experience with Junior Designers or Interns, knowledge of design tools like Adobe Suite or Sketch, and experience with interactive design platforms such as Framer, Rive, or Spline, it will be considered a bonus. This full-time on-site position at Smartters offers a dynamic work environment with a 5-days-a-week schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM IST in Bhubaneswar, where you can contribute to creating innovative and user-centric design solutions.,
