What You’ll Do

• Lead the design of Surge’s most critical experiences — from agent-led orchestration UIs to real-time collaboration flows.

• Bring voice, motion, and screen together into a seamless interface where Speed, our AI, feels alive and helpful.

• Craft elegant systems from complex AI capabilities — task decomposition, memory visuals, ambient feedback.

• Work directly with founders, engineers, and other product minds to design from first principles.

• Leverage motion design, micro-interactions, and 3D to express emotion and intelligence.

• Invent new design patterns where none exist. Create clarity where chaos used to be.

What You Need

• Mastery of Figma, prototyping tools, and UI/UX best practices.

• Deep comfort with Framer, After Effect, and new-generation design tools.

• Experience creating real-time systems, animated UIs, or interfaces for AI agents is a plus.

• Passion for motion design, 3D experience design, and building something futuristic.

• Strong opinions. Soft ego. You believe feedback is a gift.

• Bonus: You’ve built tools, visual systems, or design languages before.
