Job Description

The Travel Sales Executive position in the US market involves selling travel products and services to customers, focusing on understanding their needs, providing travel advice, making bookings, and ensuring customer satisfaction. An essential aspect of this role is a comprehensive understanding of travel regulations, airline rules, and GDS systems. Key Responsibilities: - Selling a variety of travel products, including flights, travel packages, and related services. - Communicating with customers through inbound and outbound calls, offering travel advice, and addressing inquiries. - Making bookings, coordinating itineraries, and ensuring seamless travel logistics. - Achieving or surpassing sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners. - Staying informed about travel regulations, airline policies, and industry developments. - Resolving customer issues and addressing booking problems. - Utilizing CRM systems, online booking platforms, and GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. Skills and Qualifications: - Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, empathy, and relationship-building abilities. - Knowledge of travel industry regulations, airline guidelines, and various travel destinations. - Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. - Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software. - Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and identify solutions. - Organizational skills to manage multiple bookings, track leads, and prioritize tasks. - Clear communication skills to explain complex travel options effectively. - Genuine passion for travel and helping customers create memorable experiences.
