US Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented US Payroll Specialist with strong experience in ADP payroll management and handling payroll notices. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing using ADP.

Review and respond to federal, state, and local payroll tax notices.

Ensure compliance with wage, hour, and tax laws across multiple states.

Administer employee tax withholdings, garnishments, and other deductions.

Process new hires, terminations, and changes (salary, benefits, direct deposit).

Reconcile payroll data with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare and distribute pay stubs, W-2s, and other payroll-related documents.

Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.

Support internal/external audits with payroll reports and documentation.

Collaborate with HR and Finance on benefits, reporting, and compliance needs.

Stay updated with payroll legislation and ADP system enhancements.

Qualifications

25 years of hands-on US payroll experience.

Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (or similar ADP platforms).

Strong understanding of US payroll compliance and multi-state taxation.

Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Excel and payroll reporting tools.
