US Mortgage Processor

Role Overview: You will be joining our team in Ghansoli as a detail-oriented and experienced US Mortgage Processor. Your responsibilities will include reviewing loan applications, verifying borrower information, ensuring compliance with lending regulations, and preparing files for underwriting approval. It is important for you to be comfortable working in a night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Review mortgage loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness. - Verify borrower information such as income, employment, credit, and assets. - Order and review third-party documents including appraisals, title reports, and credit reports. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor lending regulations. - Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to resolve discrepancies. - Prepare loan files for underwriting submission and final approval. - Track loan file progress and update systems accordingly. - Maintain a high level of accuracy and timeliness to meet closing deadlines. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). - MBA in Finance is a plus. - 2-3 years of experience as a mortgage processor in the US mortgage industry. - Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loan programs. - Familiarity with loan origination systems (e.g., Encompass, Calyx, or similar). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files. - Knowledge of compliance regulations (TRID, RESPA, HMDA, etc.).
