Position: US IT Recruiter

Experience: 5 - 10 years

Location: Chennai

Work mode: Onsite

Shift: Night shift

Notice Period: Immediate or up to 15 days

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Write and Post Technical Job Descriptions.
• Source potential candidates on niche platforms, and screen resumes for specialized skills.
• Perform Pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities.
• Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)

Requirements and skills:

• Proven work experience as a US IT Technical Recruiter
• Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
• Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
• Must be expertise in working with W2, C2C & Full-time requirements.
• Must be very strong in validating resumes and documents.
• Experience in recruiting US Citizens and Green Card holders.
• Experience in building the talent pool for the IT department of the company.
• Must be comfortable working in EST and PST shifts.
• Knowledgeable about different US work Visas like H1B, E3, and TN.
• Familiarity with different US Tax terms is required (1099/W2/Corp-Corp).
• In-depth knowledge of hiring practices and existing laws with respect to the US market.
• Proficient in English, should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
