US IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and shortlist qualified IT professionals through job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), social media, and referrals
  
• Conduct technical screenings and coordinate interviews with clients
  
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: requirement gathering, sourcing, submission, scheduling, and onboarding
  
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs, project pipelines, and position requirements
  
• Align recruitment efforts with business development goals to fulfill project and staffing requirements
  
• Actively source, engage, and onboard STEM OPT, CPT, and other visa-holding candidates for internal and client requirements
  
• Maintain and update candidate pipelines using ATS/CRM systems
  
• Negotiate salaries and close candidates based on client budget and expectations
  
• Build long-term relationships with consultants and clients for repeat business
  
• Stay updated on current hiring trends and technologies in the US IT market

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree (any field)
  
• 1-3 years of experience in US IT recruitment (W2, C2C, 1099 hiring)
  
• Familiarity with US tax terms, visas (H1B, GC, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, USC), and work authorizations
  
• Proficiency with sourcing tools such as Dice, LinkedIn, Indeed, and internal databases
  
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  
• Willingness to work closely with the sales/business team to align hiring with revenue goals
  
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and adaptable to changing client demands
