Role & responsibilities

Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

Lead outbound sales efforts: conduct market research, generate qualified leads, and initiate direct sales calls to prospective clients
Manage CRM workflows (HubSpot, Zoho): track leads, follow-ups, and sales conversions
Build and maintain prospect databases; support email marketing and outreach campaigns
Prepare client proposals, quotations, and onboarding documentation
Support operational efficiency by coordinating with vendors, ensuring timely service delivery
Monitor and improve internal processes related to lead management and client communications
Track performance metrics and assist with sales and operations reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support execution of business strategies

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Management (mandatory)
01 years of experience in business development, sales, or operations
Strong communication skills and proven experience making cold/warm sales calls
Proficient in MS Excel, Google Workspace, CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho), and accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero)
Analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
Self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and contribute to a founder-led startup environment
