Urgently hiring Junior Accountant

Software Proficiency: Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9

Key Responsibilities

• Tally Data Entry:
• Accurate entry of sales, purchase, bank transactions (including reconciliation), and cash expenses.
• Timely posting of journal vouchers and ledger updates.
• GST Compliance:
• GST set-off entries and reconciliation.
• Preparation and working knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, and GSTR-3B.
• Coordination with internal teams for GST data collation and filing support.
• TDS Handling:
• TDS deduction entries and monthly workings.
• Understanding of TDS thresholds, limits, and deduction applicability.
• Support in quarterly TDS return preparation and vendor reconciliation.
• Bank & Cash Management:
• Daily bank entries and reconciliation with statements.
• Monitoring petty cash expenses and maintaining cash book accuracy.
• Audit Support:
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and voucher trails.
• Assist in internal and statutory audit queries related to data entry and compliance.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 2–3 years in Tally-based accounting and GST/TDS compliance.
• Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Skills Required:
• Strong command over Tally Prime or ERP 9.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS provisions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Additional Notes

• Candidates with prior experience in the day to day accounting or Construction sector will be preferred.
• Familiarity with Excel and basic accounting principles is essential.
• Immediate joiners or those with short notice periods will be prioritized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
