Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer - LV Panels. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing LV Panels, performing Sheet metal design, component layouts and busbar design for control panels. The role requires strong skills in product design and an understanding of control panel manufacturing processes.
Responsible for handling all Mechanical design & engineering activities required for a control panel like:
# Sheet Metal cabinet design with Assembly, sub assembly & child parts drawing & BOM
# Selection of Cabinet accessories like Gasket, locks, Hinges suitable for desired IP class.
# Preparing Hardware and accessories BOM in excel and ERP
# New product development & validation
# Setting up the process flow diagram for new products
# Busbar Selection & routing, drawing
# Preparing internal component layouts and door layouts
# 2+ years' of industry experience in design of LV control panels like PCC, MCC, APFC etc.
# Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal design
# Expertise in AutoCAD 2D & Solid edge/ solid works 3D
