Urgent opening Fitter - Navi mumbai

Position: (Fabrication Industry)

Location: Turbhe,Navi Mumbai

Department: Production

Reports to: Factory Manager

About the Role: The Fitter from the fabrication industry with strong expertise in

assembly, installation, and maintenance of fabricated structures and components.

The role involves working with technical drawings, cutting, grinding, welding support,

and ensuring precision in fitting jobs.

Key Responsibilities

 Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.

 Fit, assemble, and align fabricated parts and structures.

 Use measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, tape, etc.) to ensure

accuracy.

 Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting of metal parts.

 Assist welders and fabricators during assembly and finishing.

 Conduct inspection of completed work to meet quality standards.

 Maintain tools, equipment, and follow safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

 ITI / Diploma in Fitter / Mechanical or equivalent.

 4–5 years’ experience in fabrication fitting.

 Hands-on knowledge of cutting, grinding, drilling, and hand tools.

 Ability to read fabrication drawings and perform precise measurements.

 Strong understanding of workshop & safety practices.

 Experience in heavy fabrication industry preferred.

Experience:

• fitter : 3 years (Preferred)
• factory exp must : 3 years (Preferred)
• ITI / Diploma in Fitter / Mechanical: 3 years (Preferred)
• Hands-on knowledge: 4 years (Preferred)
• of cutting, grinding, drilling, and hand tools.: 4 years (Preferred)
• Exp.e in heavy fabrication industry preferred.: 4 years (Preferred)
