Key Responsibilities

Contract Management & Negotiations

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including MoUs, EPC agreements, vendor/supplier contracts, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and financing/security documents.
  
• Assess and advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies for commercial agreements.
  

Corporate & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Indian Contract Act, environmental regulations).
  
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting consultancy and EPC businesses, especially in the

  renewable energy

  sector.
• Liaise with legal advisors, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  

Dispute Resolution & Litigation Management

• Handle legal notices, pre-litigation matters, and coordinate dispute resolution strategies.
  
• Work with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
  
• Maintain accurate legal documentation and compliance records.
  

Project & Transaction Support

• Review legal documents related to

  land acquisition, leasing, and licensing

  for solar projects.
• Guide internal teams on necessary regulatory approvals and permits.
  

Governance & Risk Advisory

• Advise senior management and board on governance and compliance issues.
  
• Develop and implement internal legal policies (e.g., anti-corruption, data protection).
  
• Conduct legal training sessions for project and business teams.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized institution.
  
• 5–12 years of relevant experience in corporate legal roles, ideally in consultancy, infrastructure, EPC, or renewable energy.
  
• Strong background in

  contract law, compliance, and dispute resolution

  .
• Knowledge of solar energy regulations, PPAs, and project financing is a plus.
  
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
