Compartment S4 is a collaborative firm of 8 architects from Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) University, offering design solutions in Architecture, Urban Design, Social Infrastructure, and Interior Design. Established in 2017, we focus on creating people-centric and environment-sensitive designs. Our approach emphasizes cost efficiency, climate responsiveness, and the use of local resources and techniques. We strive to craft spatial experiences that benefit the user while minimizing environmental impact.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Urban Designer located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Urban Designer will be responsible for developing comprehensive urban design plans, conducting site analysis, preparing detailed design documents, and collaborating with other architects and planners. The role also includes engaging with stakeholders, presenting design concepts, and ensuring that all projects align with environmental and social sustainability practices.

Qualifications

• Skills in Urban Planning and Comprehensive Planning
• Proficiency in Architecture and Urban Design
• Experience in Landscape Architecture
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and local building codes
• Proficiency in CAD software and design tools
