Upwork Bidding & Sales Executive - Website Development Services

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Upwork Bidding & Sales Executive who will focus on selling website design and development services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in bidding on Upwork and other freelancing platforms, understanding client requirements, drafting tailored proposals, and successfully closing projects related to website development.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively bid on Upwork and other freelance platforms for website development projects
• Understand client needs and prepare customized proposals & pricing for web design and development
• Communicate with international clients via chat, email, and calls
• Convert leads into confirmed website development projects
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Coordinate with internal design & development teams for smooth onboarding
• Track bidding performance, conversions, and sales targets

Required Skills

• Proven experience in Upwork bidding / online IT sales
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong understanding of website design & development (WordPress, custom websites, eCommerce, etc.)
• Ability to write clear, compelling, and personalized proposals
• Strong negotiation, objection handling & closing skills
• Target-driven and self-motivated approach
• Experience with LinkedIn outreach / freelance marketplaces
• Familiarity with CRM tools or sales tracking tools
• Prior experience in an IT agency or web development company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR relevant work experience
• Demonstrated success in selling website development or digital services

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
