About the Role

experienced Unity Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain

    multiplayer gameplay

    logic for real-time board and card games.
  • Design and optimize

    Node.js + Socket.io

    backend for high-performance multiplayer experiences.
  • Implement

    MongoDB

    data models for efficient game state, user profiles, leaderboards, and match history.
  • Develop and integrate

    internet reconnection & uninterrupted gameplay features

    to handle temporary network dropouts.
  • Optimize game performance for

    mobile, desktop, and web

    platforms.
  • Work closely with designers, QA, and product managers to deliver smooth gameplay.
  • Debug, profile, and optimize code for scalability and low latency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years

    of professional experience in

    Unity game development

    .
  • Proven experience in creating and publishing

    multiplayer games

    (portfolio required).
  • Strong

    Node.js

    backend and

    Socket.io

    networking skills.
  • Hands-on experience with

    MongoDB

    for game data storage.
  • Knowledge of

    real-time game architecture

    and server synchronization techniques.
  • Experience with

    network reconnection handling

    and maintaining game state during disconnections.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in

    payment gateway

    and in-game economy integration.
  • Knowledge of

    cloud server deployment

    (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with

    other multiplayer frameworks

    (Photon, Mirror, etc.).
