Job Description

Job Purpose: To provide administrative and operational support to the underwriting team in processing insurance proposals, documentation, data entry, and communication with internal departments and clients, ensuring timely and accurate risk assessment support. Key Responsibilities: Assist underwriters in collecting and organizing proposal forms, declarations, and required documents from agents or clients. Enter application and client information into underwriting systems and ensure accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with sales, operations, and clients to obtain missing or additional information. Follow up on pending proposals or documents to ensure smooth underwriting flow. Prepare underwriting case files and documentation for risk evaluation. Generate reports, maintain underwriting logs, and update databases regularly. Perform preliminary checks on submitted applications for completeness and compliance. Support in tracking policy issuance status and communicating updates to concerned teams. Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, regulatory norms, and company standards.
