UI/UX Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. As a UX Design Lead, you will be responsible for defining and driving the UX vision and strategy for complex digital products. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, product leads, and business teams to understand user needs, business goals, and market context. Your role will involve translating high-level requirements into design goals that align with business objectives and ROI. You will lead multiple design workstreams across platforms such as web, mobile, and enterprise systems. Managing timelines, scope, and expectations in collaboration with project managers and developers will be key to your success. Ensuring high-quality design deliverables that meet usability, aesthetic, and functional standards is also a critical aspect of this role. As a team leader, you will mentor and guide a team of designers to grow their skills and deliver exceptional work. Establishing and upholding design standards and review processes will be part of your responsibilities. You will foster a collaborative environment across design, product, and engineering teams to drive excellence in design execution. Your focus will be on leading the creation of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals. You will conduct and apply user research and testing to inform design iterations. Having a good understanding of Design systems, UX principles, and Cognitive psychology will be advantageous in this role. In terms of communication, you will present design solutions to internal teams and clients with clarity and impact. Translating complex design concepts into language stakeholders understand will be essential. Collaboration with clients to incorporate feedback and align on outcomes will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors/masters degree in design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). A strong portfolio showcasing UX strategy, design systems, and complex product design is desired. Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, prototyping tools, and UX research methods is required. Experience working in agile teams with cross-functional stakeholders and strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential. This role is based in Mumbai, and the candidate should be willing to work from the office. Candidates ready to relocate and work in a collaborative, on-site setup will also be considered.
