Ui/Ux Intern

Internship Duration: 6 Months (3 Months Unpaid + 3 Months Paid)

Phase 1: Unpaid Internship (Month 1–3)

Focus: Learning, Observation, and Skill Application

• Orientation & Design Tool Training
• Learn and work with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and related design platforms.
• Understand basic UI/UX design principles and company design standards.
• Research & Competitive Analysis
• Assist in conducting user research through interviews, surveys, and secondary research.
• Analyze UI/UX trends and study competitor products.
• Wireframing & Ideation
• Support in creating low-fidelity wireframes and initial screen mockups.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute design ideas.
• Team Collaboration
• Shadow senior designers and participate in project meetings.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand real-time product flows.

Phase 2: Paid Internship (Month 4–6)

Focus: Independent Execution, Contribution to Live Projects

• High-Fidelity Designs
• Create responsive high-fidelity designs for mobile and web applications.
• Follow brand and design system guidelines while working on active projects.
• Interactive Prototypes
• Develop clickable prototypes to present user flow and micro-interactions.
• Collect and incorporate internal feedback for refinement.
• User Testing & Feedback
• Participate in usability testing, document observations, and propose improvements.
• Modify UI designs based on testing outcomes and stakeholder inputs.
• Design Handoff
• Collaborate with developers to hand off design assets using standard practices.
• Ensure design consistency is maintained during development.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain a portfolio of tasks completed during the internship.
• Submit a final presentation/project demo at the end of the internship.
