About Us

We are a fast-growing indie game studio creating arcade and interactive games for Family Entertainment Centers (FECs) and Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) venues. Our products include arcade cabinets, game launchers, operator dashboards, and payment systems.

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can design both player-facing game interfaces (HUDs, menus, scoreboards, launchers) and operator-facing software tools (dashboards, payment flows, reports).

This is a unique opportunity to work on projects that blend gaming, entertainment, and software tools for real-world deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design game interfaces: menus, HUDs, scoreboards, onboarding flows, arcade launcher screens.
• Create software UIs: dashboards, admin portals, payment flows, analytics views.
• Work with the Game Producer to turn concepts into wireframes, mockups, and final UI assets.
• Collaborate with developers, artists, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct playtests and usability studies to refine both player and operator experiences.
• Develop and maintain a consistent style guide across games and software products.
• Optimize UI for multiple screen types (arcade machines, tablets, kiosks, mobile).

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with 2–5 years of work in games or interactive apps.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both game UIs and software dashboards/apps.
• Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of UX principles: usability, flow, accessibility, and clarity.
• Experience collaborating with developers (Unity/React/Phaser) to hand off designs effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Unity UI, Phaser.js, or other game engines.
• Motion graphics/animations (After Effects, Spine, Lottie).
• Knowledge of data visualization (charts, leaderboards, analytics dashboards).
• Familiarity with arcade, VR, or LBE industry projects.
