UI Designer Prototyping & Design Systems

Job Title: UI Designer Prototyping & Design Systems Position Summary We are seeking a UI Designer with a strong front-end design foundation and a passion for creating visually compelling and user-centric digital experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting click-through prototypes, conceptual “art of the possible” UI solutions, and reusable design templates that serve as a blueprint for developers. The ideal candidate combines design excellence with a creative flair and is comfortable communicating design intent across product, engineering, and stakeholder groups. You will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of complex, enterprise-grade user interfaces. Key Responsibilities Prototype & Concept Development Design and build click-through prototypes to showcase user journeys, interactions, and UI behaviors using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch . Create "art of the possible" UI concepts to illustrate innovative features, workflows, or future-state product visions. Rapidly iterate design ideas and concepts based on stakeholder input, product goals, and technical constraints. Design Systems & Developer Enablement Develop design templates, UI kits, and reusable components aligned with brand and usability standards. Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design handoffs are smooth, specifications are clear, and designs are faithfully implemented. Establish and evolve a design framework that promotes consistency, scalability, and efficiency in UI execution. User-Centered Visual Design Translate business and user needs into intuitive layouts, interaction models, and visual treatments for complex enterprise applications. Ensure that designs are accessible, responsive, and optimized for user performance across devices and platforms. Apply strong typographic, color, and visual hierarchy principles to improve clarity and engagement. Cross-Team Collaboration & Communication Work closely with product managers, UX designers, architects, and engineers to align design decisions with product strategy and technical feasibility. Present designs and concepts with clarity and confidence to internal stakeholders, making complex ideas visually understandable. Contribute to a culture of creativity, experimentation, and design excellence. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, interactive prototyping, and system thinking. Proficiency with Figma (preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar design/prototyping tools. Experience creating interactive prototypes and production-ready design specifications. Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers. Exceptional communication skills with a creative, engaging, and solution-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing for enterprise applications or data-heavy interfaces. Familiarity with design tokens, component-based design, and UI scalability. Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design principles. Exposure to Agile workflows and tools like Jira or Confluence.
