Job Title: UFT Tester (2 to 5 Years Experience) "immediate joiner preferred"

UFT Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Analyze test requirements, prepare test cases, and develop automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and other testers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Perform regression testing and troubleshoot test failures.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts.
• Provide regular status updates and test metrics to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automated testing tools and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• Strong knowledge of VBScript for scripting in UFT.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as ALM, JIRA, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
