Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks for SOC operations.
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).
Conduct regular audits of SOC processes, incident handling, and reporting.
Process Improvement:
Identify gaps and inefficiencies in SOC workflows and recommend improvements.
Lead initiatives for automation, standardization, and documentation of SOC procedures.
Collaborate with SOC leadership to refine triage playbooks and escalation protocols.
Metrics & Reporting:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTTD, MTTR, false positive rates, and SLA adherence.
Generate periodic reports on SOC performance, quality trends, and improvement actions.
Present findings to senior leadership and recommend strategic changes.
Training & Enablement:
Develop and deliver training programs focused on quality standards and best practices.
Mentor SOC analysts on quality expectations and continuous improvement.
Coordinate simulation exercises (e.g., Red Team/Blue Team drills) to assess readiness and response quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with incident response, threat intelligence, and compliance teams.
Support client audits and external assessments by providing quality documentation and evidence.
Act as a point of contact for quality-related escalations within SOC operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years in cybersecurity operations, with at least 2 years in a quality or audit-focused role.
Strong understanding of SOC tools and technologies (SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
