Job Title: Network Security Engineer (Fortinet Firewall) Location: Bangalore and Chennai Exp: 6+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Fortinet security solutions, including FortiGate Firewalls, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of BAU (Business As Usual) operations, and a commitment to working in a 24x4 rotational shift environment. Key Responsibilities: Configure, implement, and maintain Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate), FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager systems. Manage day-to-day BAU security operations including incident response, change management, and policy updates. Monitor network traffic for unusual activity using Fortinet and other monitoring tools. Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure network security posture is maintained. Perform regular system upgrades, backups, and patch management. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network and firewall-related issues promptly. Document technical procedures, configurations, and network diagrams. Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during assigned 24x4 shifts. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6+ years of relevant experience in network security and firewall management. Proven expertise in Fortinet technologies, especially FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager. Strong understanding of network protocols, VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAT, and routing. Prior experience in BAU operations within a secure and complex network environment. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Willingness to work in a 24x4 rotational shift.
