Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced responsible for the managing the selection, procurement, and utilization of trims and accessories used in apparel production. Effective management of trims is essential for ensuring that garments meet design specifications and are produced efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and executing new material developments from concept to PO placement.
• Work with design and production teams to identify the types and quantities of trims required for different garments.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop custom trims as needed, ensuring they align with design specifications and quality requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with trim suppliers, Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of trims to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Place and track orders to ensure timely delivery and availability of trims for production schedules.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
• Develop and manage budgets for trims procurement.
• Oversee the inspection of trims upon receipt to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
• Work closely with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure trims are used effectively and according to design specifications.
• Address and resolve any issues related to trims, such as delays, defects, or discrepancies between samples and final products.
• Maintain detailed records of trims purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory levels.
• Ensure that all trims meet industry regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new developments in trims and accessories.
• Train and mentor team members on trims management processes and best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve trims management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Master’s/Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in trims management include trims selection and development, vendor management, inventory management, cost management, quality control, documentation and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
