Trichologist Consultant – R&D / Hair Care Product Development

We are looking for a skilled Trichologist with a strong background in hair biology and product development to join our R&D team and help us develop next-generation hair care solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research on hair and scalp health — including etiologies and mechanisms of various types of hair loss and scalp disorders.
• Propose, design, and prioritize hair care products aligned with current market demand and scalp/hair science

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with formulation chemists, marketing, quality, and regulatory teams to drive product development

• Define the product portfolio and roadmap required to build a comprehensive hair care solution suite

• Recommend active ingredients and bioactives grounded in trichological relevance and evidence

• Oversee and actively participate in efficacy testing, clinical trials, user studies, and validation protocols

• Provide scientific support for product claims, educational materials, and consumer communications

• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to steer R&D direction

• Assist in preparing technical documentation, regulatory submissions, and quality compliance materials

Required Qualifications

• Certified Trichologist from a recognized institute

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Cosmetic Science, Biochemistry, or related field

• 2–4 years of experience in trichology, product development, or clinical research

• Strong understanding of hair/scalp conditions and cosmetic actives

• Experience working with formulation or cosmetic development teams is a plus

• Excellent communication and research skills
