Treasury Executive

Role Overview: As a Treasury Executive at Wiley, you will report to the Manager - Treasury and work closely with team members to ensure compliance with global accounting policies and procedures. Your role will involve preparing standard monthly journal entries, performing timely bank account reconciliations, generating standard reports, supporting ongoing business needs, identifying and implementing process improvements, and providing ad-hoc support to team members. Your contributions will play a crucial role in facilitating timely decision-making and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare standard monthly journal entries - Perform timely bank account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items - Ensure all relevant SOX controls are in place and functioning properly - Generate standard reports and account analyses using advanced Excel/Access database skills - Support ongoing business needs and facilitate timely decision-making - Identify and implement process improvements - Provide ad-hoc support to team members and help prepare documentation for new processes - Participate in process improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting - Not more than 3 years of experience in accounting - Understanding of treasury and general accounting transactions and processes - Strong understanding of general accounting principles, concepts, and processes - Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines - Proven success in identifying and implementing process improvements - Strong transactional and reporting experience in an ERP application - Advanced Microsoft Excel & Access Database skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and macros - SAP experience - Strong written and oral communication skills - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships - Self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks - Compliance with all company policies, rules, and procedures for Health & Safety (Note: No additional details about the company were present in the job description.),
