Travel Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell domestic and international travel packages to clients (individuals, families, corporate groups).
• Understand client preferences and budget to recommend appropriate travel options.
• Prepare detailed itineraries and provide complete travel information.
• Follow up on leads, handle inquiries, and convert prospects into sales.
• Negotiate and close deals with clients and travel suppliers (hotels, airlines, etc.).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel destinations, products, trends, and regulations.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Handle customer service issues and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Process bookings and ensure all documentation (visas, insurance, confirmations) is completed.
• Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (1–3 years) in travel sales or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of global travel destinations, air ticketing, and travel products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for travel and tourism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
