The Role:

As a Travel Operations Consultant, you will be the backbone of our service delivery, ensuring all aspects of the travel process run smoothly from booking to post-trip follow-up. You will work closely with our sales and client success teams to transform trip itineraries into perfectly executed travel arrangements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking and Ticketing:

    Manage, process, and confirm complex travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transport, and activities, using GDS (Global Distribution System) and various booking platforms.
  • Operational Efficiency:

    Streamline and document internal operational procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in booking and invoicing processes.
  • Vendor Relations:

    Liaise with vendors, airlines, and suppliers to negotiate rates, resolve booking issues, and ensure service quality.
  • Quality Control:

    Conduct thorough quality checks on all confirmed bookings and documentation (e.g., visas, insurance) before final delivery to the client.
  • Problem Resolution:

    Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, quickly and effectively resolving changes, cancellations, and on-trip disruptions.
  • System Management:

    Maintain and update client profiles, booking records, and operational databases accurately.


What You'll Bring:

  • Experience:

    Minimum of

    (1)

    years of experience in a Travel Operations, Reservations, or Ticketing role within the travel industry.
  • GDS Proficiency:

    Mandatory

    expertise in using a major GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo). (Please specify which one(s) your company uses).
  • Knowledge:

    Deep understanding of IATA regulations, ticketing procedures, fare rules, and destination/supplier knowledge.
  • Skills:

    Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks under pressure.
  • Communication:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Education:

    (Optional: Degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field is a plus).
