Required Inside Telesales Executive Job Title: Inside Sales Executive – Travel & Tourism Location: Janakpuri West delhi Department: Sales Reports To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Executive to join our travel and tourism team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, handling inbound inquiries, converting prospects into customers, and supporting the sales pipeline through telephone, email, and online communication. Your goal will be to promote and sell travel packages, tours, and other travel-related services. Key Responsibilities:Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns. Make outbound calls and send emails to potential customers to promote travel packages and services. Understand customer needs and recommend suitable travel products (domestic and international tours, flights, hotels, etc.). Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings and meet/exceed monthly sales targets. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and bookings using CRM software. Assist customers with itinerary planning, pricing, and payment options. Collaborate with the operations and reservations teams to ensure smooth post-sales service. Stay updated on industry trends, destinations, travel regulations, and competitor offerings. Handle post-sales customer queries and maintain long-term client relationships. Participate in promotional campaigns, webinars, and travel expos as needed. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Good knowledge of travel destinations, packages, and booking platforms. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets. Customer-focused with a positive, sales-driven mindset. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is a plus. Multilingual abilities are an advantage. Certification in Travel & Tourism or IATA is desirable.
