1. Process Management and Optimization:
- Oversee and optimize backend operations processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational workflows to streamline travel booking, billing, and customer service processes.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
2. System Administration:
- Manage and maintain backend systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and running smoothly.
- Co-ordinate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all systems and databases.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of backend operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination within the team and with other departments.
4. Project Management:
- Lead and manage operations projects, from planning through execution and evaluation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Prepare and present project status reports to HOD.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all backend operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify potential risks in operational processes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
6. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure backend operations support business objectives.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Time-to-Time reviews and assessments of backend operations to identify and address areas for improvement.
8. Business Development
- Manage the existing business and plan for further future business development by improvement in existing business process or addition of new services/partners
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the travel industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of backend systems, database management, and process optimization techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
