Travel Consultant

Role Overview As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting clients with planning and booking domestic and international travel. This includes creating personalized itineraries, providing expert destination advice, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, destination knowledge, and the ability to handle client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Engage with clients to understand their travel requirements, preferences, and budget. Suggest suitable destinations, packages, and travel options (flights, hotels, activities, transfers). Prepare and present customized itineraries and quotations. Manage bookings, payments, and documentation (tickets, visas, insurance, permits, etc.). Provide accurate information on destinations, travel guidelines, and regulations. Handle amendments, cancellations, and customer concerns promptly. Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to team goals. Build long-term relationships with clients for repeat and referral business. Stay updated with travel trends, airline policies, hotel deals, and tourism developments. Key Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong sales and negotiation abilities. Good destination knowledge (domestic & international). Customer-focused with problem-solving mindset. Proficiency in MS Office and online booking tools/CRS (preferred). Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
