Travel Consultant

Job Summary A Travel Consultant is responsible for assisting guests, corporate clients, and travel agents with planning, booking, and managing their travel-related arrangements including hotel stays, transportation, and other travel services. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maximizing sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities Handle travel-related inquiries from clients, guests, and agents via phone, email, and in person. Plan and create customized travel itineraries including hotel bookings, transport arrangements, and local experiences. Advise customers on destinations, travel options, rates, availability, and hotel policies. Make, modify, and cancel reservations using the property’s reservation system. Issue confirmations, invoices, and travel documents accurately and on time. Maintain up-to-date knowledge about hotel services, packages, offers, and promotions. Build and maintain good relationships with clients and travel agents to drive repeat business. Meet sales targets by promoting hotel stays and additional services. Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer profiles.
