Travel Consultant

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and selling holiday packages, managing hotel bookings, assisting clients with visa applications, and providing end-to-end travel solutions. This role requires strong destination knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver personalized travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand clients’ travel preferences and requirements to recommend suitable holiday packages and itineraries.
• Plan and book domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transfers, tours, and activities.
• Handle visa processing, documentation, and provide guidance on travel regulations and requirements.
• Negotiate and liaise with hotels, airlines, and other service providers to secure the best deals for clients.
• Create customized travel itineraries tailored to clients’ needs and budget.
• Provide accurate travel information, including destination insights, weather updates, cultural tips, and safety advisories.
• Manage booking systems, maintain client records, and ensure timely confirmations and follow-ups.
• Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after travel to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Stay updated on travel trends, promotions, and visa regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, Tour Operator, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of holiday destinations, hotels, and visa processes.
• Proficiency in reservation/booking systems (GDS, Amadeus, Galileo, etc.) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
