Transport Operations Supervisor

Job Description

Operational Management: Oversee daily transport and depot operations including fleet movement, driver scheduling, shift transitions, and vehicle availability. Monitor real-time operations and resolve issues related to service delays, breakdowns, or staffing shortages. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules with the workshop and ensure vehicle readiness. Optimize resource usage (fuel, Energy, fleet, manpower) to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency. Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Supervise operations executives, drivers, and support staff. • Conduct daily briefings and debriefings for shift teams. • Maintain staff duty rosters, overtime records, attendance, and leave management in coordination with HR. • Ensure discipline, punctuality, and performance standards are maintained among operational teams.
