LRC Logistics is a fast-growing logistics company based in Chennai, known for delivering excellence in transportation and supply chain management. We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Transport Manager to lead our operations at Choolaimedu and help take our services to the next level.

Job Role:

As a Transport Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our transport fleet, ensure timely deliveries, manage drivers and logistics schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate transportation schedules and routes
• Supervise drivers, monitor vehicle performance and maintenance
• Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods
• Maintain all transport-related documentation and reporting
• Liaise with clients and vendors professionally
• Handle transport-related issues and provide quick solutions
• Track KPIs, optimize fuel and route efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a transport/logistics role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good command over English and Tamil (spoken & written)
• Knowledge of transport compliance, permits, and documentation
• Tech-savvy: Basic computer skills
• Ability to handle pressure and work flexible hours
