About the Team:

The Translation and Communication team at Varahe Analytics plays a vital role in ensuring that campaign messages, reports, and communication materials are clear, culturally relevant, and linguistically accurate across different regions.

As part of this team, you will work closely with content creators, narrative coordinators, and communication strategists to ensure seamless translation of political, social, and analytical content between Tamil and English while maintaining tone, context, and clarity.

What Would This Role Entail?

• Translate a wide range of materials, including political reports, speeches, press releases, social media content, and campaign documents, from

  Tamil to English

  and

  English to Tamil

  .
• Ensure translations

  maintain accuracy, context, and intended tone

  of the original text.
• Work closely with the

  Narrative Coordination

  and

  Media Monitoring

  teams to support content creation and analysis.
• Proofread and edit translated documents for

  grammar, consistency, and readability

  .
• Adapt political and cultural nuances appropriately to ensure messaging resonates with the target audience.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive campaign materials and information.
• Ensure timely delivery of translation assignments while meeting quality standards.

Necessary Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in

  English, Tamil, Journalism, Linguistics, or Communications

  (or any related field).
• Excellent command of

  Tamil, Hindi and English

  , with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex ideas and political terminology accurately and naturally.
• Understanding of the political and social dynamics of Puducherry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office

  and

  Google Workspace

  tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Hindi, English and Tamil is highly preferred for this role.

Good to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in

  translation, interpretation, or content localization

  , preferably in a political or media context.
• Knowledge of

  transcription tools or subtitling software

  .
• Experience working with political communication or campaign materials.
