Transaction Monitoring

As a Financial Crime Operations Analyst, your role involves maintaining strong financial crime governance to enhance customer service and promote trust within the industry. You will be responsible for ensuring financial crime accountability, monitoring, and governance throughout the organization. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting transaction monitoring and customer investigations to prevent financial crime. - Analyzing customer profiles and activities through automated and manual alerts. - Drawing conclusions and documenting evidence in accordance with policies and procedures. - Sharing the responsibility for financial crime compliance across the organization. - Proactively managing risks, ensuring policy adherence, and escalating/resolving issues or breaches. - Completing necessary reports and documentation accurately and promptly. To excel in this role, you should possess the following capabilities, experience, and qualifications: - Ability to work autonomously, meet time-critical tasks, and collaborate with colleagues. - Identifying gaps/data quality issues, providing solutions/alternatives, and sharing outcome learnings for continuous skill development. - Strong communication skills (verbal/written) and attention to detail. - Conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis using risk-based assessment. - Understanding the global financial crime landscape, regulatory/risk frameworks, and AML/CTF risk management. - Familiarity with banking products, financial services, and experience with SharePoint, SQL, and report building. In terms of experience, you should have a minimum of 2 years in Transaction Monitoring/AML Investigation and over 4 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, Regulatory environments, law enforcement, or similar fields. Additionally, a Bachelor's Degree and relevant AML/CTF, law enforcement, or industry certifications/accreditations (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) would be beneficial for this role.,
