Training & Placement Officer

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry professionals, and corporate clients to generate placement opportunities for students.
• Acquire new clients through networking, cold calling, meetings, and business development strategies.
• Collaborate with the academic team to understand student profiles and align placements with their career goals.
• Organize and coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and company presentations.
• Provide career counseling and placement guidance to students to enhance their employability. Track job market trends and employer needs, ensuring that students are prepared for relevant industries.
• Maintain records of student placements, employer feedback, and placement drive outcomes
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the placement rate of students.
• Assist students in resume building, interview preparation, and developing soft skills.
• Manage relationships with alumni and leverage their networks for placement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in career services, placement, or recruitment, with a minimum of 3 years of similar experience.
• Thorough understanding of the education sector, job market trends, and industry-specific requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with students, employers, and industry partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience managing and utilizing a comprehensive database of company HR contact details to foster relationships and enhance placement opportunities.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
