Job Summary: The Training & Placement Coordinator is a vital member of the Training and Placement Cell within our esteemed engineering institute. The primary responsibility of the Coordinator is to facilitate the successful transition of our engineering students into the professional world. This role involves liaising with industry partners, organizing placement drives, providing career guidance, and to equipping students with the necessary skills to secure job opportunities.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in any relevant field (a Master's degree is a plus).
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.

Skills Required:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Knowledge of current industry trends and demands in the engineering sector.
• Proficiency in using office software, database management, and job portal platforms.
• A passion for mentoring and guiding students in their career development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Placement Coordination

• Liaise with companies and organizations for campus recruitment drives.

2. Training & Development

• Identify skill gaps and organize training sessions on soft skills, aptitude, technical skills, resume writing, and interview techniques.
• Collaborate with faculty and external trainers to design and deliver training modules.

3. Industry Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals and HR managers.
• Arrange industrial visits, guest lectures, and internships for students.

4. Student Support

• Guide students in career planning, goal setting, and job search strategies.
• Provide one-on-one counseling to students regarding career opportunities.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare reports on placement statistics and training outcomes.
• Maintain records of student participation and feedback.
• Organize and coordinate placement activities such as interviews, tests, and group discussions.
• Maintain a database of student profiles and placement records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
