Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced College Nurse to join our institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting a healthy campus environment by providing first aid, managing student health issues, and maintaining medical records in line with institutional policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, allergies, or specific medical needs of students.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments under approved protocols.
• Maintain accurate health records of students and prepare periodic health reports.
• Coordinate with local healthcare providers and hospitals for referrals and emergencies.
• Conduct health check-ups, vaccination drives, and awareness programs in collaboration with the administration.
• Ensure the infirmary/medical room is well-equipped, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Educate students and staff about hygiene, nutrition, mental wellness, and other preventive healthcare topics.
• Assist during college events and field trips by providing necessary medical support.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing registration with the State Nursing Council.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, student-centric approach.
• Ability to remain calm and act swiftly in medical emergencies.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance, documentation, and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
