Overall purpose of the Role: The Trainee Engineer role supports design, sourcing, testing, and documentation activities across electrical and mechanical projects. The position provides hands-on experience with tools like AutoCAD and MS Office, while building technical and teamwork skills. The trainee will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely project execution. This role offers a strong foundation for growth by encouraging continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies.

Qualifications and Desired Competencies

• BE / B.Tech – preferably in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical & Electronics.
• Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical systems, components, and design principles.
• Familiarity with relevant software, mainly AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Assist in creating electrical designs, including one-line diagrams, schematics, and layouts, using relevant software like AutoCAD.
• Sourcing and Procurement: Support the sourcing team by gathering quotes, analyzing supplier proposals, and participating in negotiations.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Participate in testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet performance and safety requirements.
• Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other engineers, to support project execution.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, related to design, sourcing, and testing.
• Quality and Safety: Adhere to quality and safety standards throughout the design, sourcing, and testing processes.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical/mechanical /electronics engineering, design, and sourcing
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Preventive Maintenance / Spare handling – Properly maintain the documents related to the preventive maintenance and preparing the monthly stock report.

Position Details

Division: Instrumentation & Maintenance.

Location: Bangalore (No. 36/2, Sriramanahalli, Near Rajankunte, Off Dodballapur Road, Bangalore 562163.

Terms of Appointment - This is a one-year traineeship program. Upon successful completion, candidates may be considered for absorption into the organization based on their performance during the traineeship and the availability of suitable openings.

Benefits: Annual CTC upto 3 LPA, Mediclaim insurance for self, spouse, and dependent children, up to INR Up to 1.5 Lacs per annum.

Pay: Up to ₹350,000.00 per year
