TRAFFIC MANAGER

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Traffic Manager.. The Traffic Manager will be responsible for managing logistics operations, placing vehicles from the market, maintaining high indent vs placement ratio, placing owned fleet in the market, coordinating transportation activities, optimising delivery routes, tracking shipments, collecting PODs, vehicle maintenance and ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.  Placing owned fleet in the market thCompany rough brokers and direct companies Placing vehicles from vendors and brokers for our loads at competitive rates Handling drivers, brokers and truck owners Handle accidents and tolls Collecting PODs Coordinating with Head Office Independently handling branch operations Data entry on computer to give record on daily basis Minimise the movement of idle trucks. Ensure cost efficiency by negotiation and price comparison Qualifications Must have experience in logistics and transportation management Knowledge of FTL trucks - all sizes Local network of vendors and markets Basic Computer Knowledge and using of Google Forms and Sheets Acquainted with truck spare parts  Experience in the liquor and beer industry or other relevant sectors is a plus
