Dear Candidate,
Currently we have an opening for the Trade and Compliance - Junior/Trainee role based in Chennai. Please find below the JD for the role.
a) Ensure Full Compliance with Export control guidelines from principal companies, covering EU, US, and International Guidelines.
b) Oversee that EU (European Union) Dual-use goods/ restricted technologies are issued an EUC (End-user certificate) from consignees side.
c) Validate export controls from the HS codes and ECCN# (Export Control Classification Number) provided by the customers.
d) Approve orders from customers for critical goods through a workflow/approval process.
e) Provide continuous training to all relevant staff on compliance requirements, including initiating e-training/online training in coordination with the IT/L&D team.
f) Coordinate monthly meetings with Siemens/other principals' Trade/Export Control teams.
g) Download critical components listing of materials weekly and upload them into SAP to ensure the materials are controlled.
h) Ensure complete documentation requirements to safeguard and protect the company's interests.
i) Conduct regular audits of the process, continuously enhance and create, and maintain document record-keeping and reports.
j) Stay updated on changes in government trade regulations.
i) Perform any other work assigned by your reporting manager(s).
Graduate with 0-2yrs work experience.
