a) Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and to quote accordingly.
b) Clarify specifications, quantities, and any special requests from customers.
c) Provide information and guidance on product selection, technical details, and pricing.
d) Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the switchgear/electrical products and
automation offered by the company.
e) Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and product innovations.
f) Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain product information and updates.
g) Prepare submittals, cost estimates for electrical products and equipment based on supplier
pricing, overhead costs, and any special requirements.
h) Analyze pricing structures and competitiveness in the market. Calculate profit margins and
consider pricing strategies to win business.
i) Create detailed and accurate price quotations based on customer requirements and company
pricing guidelines.
j) Include all relevant product details, specifications, terms and conditions, and delivery
schedules.
k) Ensure that quotations are compliant with local regulations and industry standards. Maintain
a database of quotations, including pricing details, customer interactions, and any custom requests.
l) Document any changes or revisions to quotations. Assist in tracking and managing the status
of outstanding quotations.
m)Collaborate with the sales team to review and refine quotations, addressing any customer
concerns or questions.
n) Coordinate with the procurement team to obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing information
from suppliers.
o) Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
p) Provide insights to management on market trends and pricing strategies.
q) Generate reports on quotation activities, conversion rates, and other key performance
indicators.
r) Offer recommendations for process improvements and pricing adjustments.
s) Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and
support throughout the quotation process. Address any customer queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
t) Follow-up for the project material and project tracking. Provide a weekly update.
u) Any other work assigned by your reporting manager/s.
