Job Description

As the Total Rewards Manager at ThoughtSpot, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all compensation and benefits programs in India. Your strategic analysis will be instrumental in making decisions that aim to retain and attract top talent. You will be a key figure within the Total Rewards team, aligning technical expertise in Total Rewards with a business partner's mindset to support ThoughtSpot's mission of providing an exceptional work environment where employees can thrive. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Business Leaders, People Partners, and Talent Acquisition to address compensation-related issues such as new hire offers, promotions, internal transfers, and retention strategies. You will conduct competitive benchmarking and analysis to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and policies. Additionally, you will work closely with the Head of Total Rewards and team members on strategic initiatives like job architecture evolution and critical talent compensation evaluation. Furthermore, you will develop and disseminate educational materials on compensation philosophy and programs. You will manage India benefits programs, including health insurance, employee wellness, paid time off, and leaves of absence. Evaluating benefit vendors, plan performance, costs, risks, and opportunities will also be part of your role. Ensuring compliance with country and local laws and regulations related to benefits will be essential. Lastly, you will be responsible for addressing benefits inquiries from managers and employees. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 7 years of experience in compensation and benefits roles. Your expertise should include building compensation systems, leveraging market data, and scaling processes in alignment with company growth. Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel for data analysis, report development, and model automation is crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, project management skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude when interacting with employees at all levels. Experience with Workday is preferred.
