Third-Party Control Assurance Analyst, AVP

Role Overview: You will be working as a Third-Party Control Assurance Analyst at Assistant Vice President level in Bangalore, India. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Bank in executing control assurance processes for third-party vendors, ensuring adherence to policies and guidelines. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess and verify third-party vendor control effectiveness, monitor risks, and facilitate risk mitigation to safeguard the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct outreach to internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to initiate assurance processes, gather responses, and necessary information. - Assist Service Owners and Vendor Managers in organizing governance meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring continuous monitoring of third-party vendor risks. - Provide ongoing support by participating in governance meetings, addressing queries related to Assurance Testing, and performing due diligence on third-party vendors. - Identify gaps and escalate to relevant Assessment Teams or 2LoD Risk Type Controllers, assign risk scores based on defined matrix, and create risk assessment reports outlining risks, mitigation actions, and outcomes. - Support in setting up and conducting Assurance Testing training sessions for internal stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Professional experience in audit, risk management, compliance, or procurement is advantageous. - Understanding of third-party risk management framework, processes, and best practices. - Strong appreciation of risks, regulatory requirements, and controls in vendor outsourcing and service delivery environment. - Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. - Ability to identify improvement areas and excellent communication skills. - Proficiency in relationship building and stakeholder management.
